Dr. Robert I. Sundick, professor emeritus of anthropology, died June 29 in Jerusalem at age 71. He joined the WMU faculty in 1969 and retired in 2000.

Lester "Frank, Hot Rod" Baird, a retired pipefitter in maintenance services, died Aug. 20 at age 66. Services have been held.
