Advisors, DEI staff, and student ambassadors are available in the CHHS Student Engagement Center (in the atrium, near the grand staircase) Monday through Friday. Stop in if you're not quite sure where to find the help you need. Our staff can connect you to resources in the college or elsewhere on campus.

Tour the college
College tours are a chance for you to see our beautiful building, meet faculty and talk with our student ambassadors, who can answer your questions about our programs and talk to you about what it's like to be a student at WMU and at CHHS.
Academic Advising
The academic advisors empower undergraduate students with information, support and guidance to create a successful and timely graduation plan. This includes individualized program planning, course sequencing, course registration and more.
Success Coaching
Success Coaching is about helping you manage your time to achieve academic and personal goals, identify personal strengths and build communication skills and connect with campus resources and services. An anatomy peer coach is another CHHS student who can guide you through anatomy simulations using the Anatomage Table.
Library skills
Diana Sachs, health and human services librarian and professor at University Libraries, will be in the Student Engagement Center to meet with students. Monday afternoons from 1 to 3 p.m. starting Sept. 11. with Diana or simply stop in the engagement center on Monday afternoon.

We host a variety of events for CHHS students. We also want to connect students to valuable events held virtually and across campus.
An app to help you succeed
CHHS students have a unique opportunity to to support and measure student success while using the Goal Scaling Solutions App and engaging with a professional success coach from the College of Health and Human Services.
With Goal Scaling Solutions, you can succeed by visualizing your progress and communicating with your program mentors about your goal progress. GSS can be accessed online or via our app, both of which are HIPAA and FERPA protected.
