You will learn to analyze and solve problems, think critically, communicate effectively and use information technology. Our accountancy major also provides an excellent foundation for careers in government, law and education in addition to public and corporate accounting.

Because potential employers value hands-on, real-world experience, we give you ample opportunities to participate in experiential learning through resources at the Zhang Career Center. Our advisors will help you find accounting internships as well as ways to participate in our many honor societies and University business clubs, including our co-ed organization for financial and business students Beta Alpha Psi, National Association of Black Accountants and the Accounting Club. These student organizations will help you establish professional contacts and participate in a wealth of career-enhancing programs.

Does this program meet the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants requirements?

Absolutely. Before you graduate, you'll have the opportunity to meet the 150+ credit hours requirement for certification by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and licensing for the state of 九一麻豆制片厂. To reach 150 credits, you can dual enroll in our graduate program while finishing up your B.B.A.
