Fall Welcome and fall 2020 dining news
Dining Services is prioritizing student safety as we begin Fall Welcome by limiting dining center access to Fall Welcome participants only from Thursday, Aug. 27, through Saturday, Aug. 29. Enrolled students on campus at this time not participating in Fall Welcome may purchase meals from the Grab'n Go locations. Meal plans begin Sunday, Aug. 30, and dining centers will open up to all enrolled students. Grab'n Go locations will remain available for staff and enrolled students.
During Move-in
Families, please plan accordingly and eat before or after moving your student into their residence hall at an off-campus location or pack your own beverages and meals. To ensure that our enrolled students receive the best service, this also means that guest passes from student meal plans will not be accepted until Wednesday, Sept. 2. We do sincerely apologize for this inconvenience, as usually we are thrilled to invite families and others to try the dining experience at WMU.
Classes Begin
Wednesday, Sept. 2, Dining Services will welcome faculty and staff back into our dining center locations. During the fall semester, Dining Services will only serve the campus community in our dining centers. Admittance of groups of guests from outside the University or reservations from internal or external groups will not be possible until further notice.
