Business leadership development company up first in entrepreneurship speaker series
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擳he owner and principal of Humanergy, a business leadership development company, will be the first speaker in the Entrepreneurship Forum speaker series at Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University's Haworth College of Business.
David Wheatley will speak at 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, in 1120 Schneider Hall. The event is free and open to the public and begins with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (269) 387-5964 or online. Free parking is available in Schneider Hall Lot 72R.

Wheatley is an expert facilitator, trainer and coach who works with leaders transitioning to new roles or working toward improved results. For more than 20 years, Wheatley has worked with members of government, manufacturing, healthcare, law enforcement and financial institutions. Recently, he coached credit union CEOs through mergers, supported the rebuilding of a manufacturing leadership team and worked with a nationally recognized hospital navigating a significant leadership transition.
Originally from Leeds, England, Wheatley is a former Scotland Yard police officer. He is a graduate of Hendon Police Academy in London and an honors graduate of Lancaster University's education program. Wheatley earned a master's degree in organizational management and is a senior fellow at the University of Maryland鈥檚 School of Public Policy.
He has served as a speaker at the International Leadership Association Conference multiple times and is the co-author of "50 Dos for Everyday Leadership: Lessons Learned the Hard Way (So You Don鈥檛 Have To)."
