Campus office hours released for Thanksgiving recess
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擭o Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University classes will be held during Thanksgiving recess from noon Wednesday, Nov. 21, through Sunday, Nov. 25.
Classes resume at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26.
Some WMU offices will close or operate on limited hours Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 22-25.
Listed below are Thanksgiving Day weekend hours for selected University offices and services. Faculty, students and the public are encouraged to call ahead to make sure that a particular office on campus is open.

Office closings apply to non-represented University employees. Many represented employees have contractually scheduled regular work days Nov. 22-25 since the University continues to provide services during Thanksgiving recess. Represented employees should direct questions to their management.
Closures and special hours
Many offices, including Admissions, Bronco Express, financial aid and Office of Student Transitions will be closed Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 22-25.
Bernhard Center and Bronco Mall close at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, and will remain closed Thursday through Saturday. Biggby Coffee, K-Zoo Coney and the Bernhard Center Caf茅 and Market will close at 2 p.m. Wednesday, the bookstore is open until 3 p.m. and PNC and Subway until 5 p.m. that day. The Bernhard Center will be open 10:30 a.m. to midnight Sunday. Subway and Biggby will be open reduced hours 3 to 11 p.m. All other offices and Bronco Mall stores will be closed until Monday morning. Bronco Transit buses, except for at the College of Aviation, will stop running at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21. The last bus departure from the College of Aviation will be at 4 p.m., and the buses will stop running at 5 p.m. on Wednesday. All buses will resume normal operations on Monday, Nov. 26.

Sindecuse Health Center, including the pharmacy, is closed Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 22-25. Medical emergencies should be referred to local hospitals or other health care providers.
Student Recreation Center closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, is closed Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 22-24, and is open from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25. The recreation center resumes normal hours Monday, Nov. 26, at 6 a.m.
Unified Clinics are open normal hours Wednesday, Nov. 21, and closed Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 22-25.
All WMU Libraries close at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, and remain closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22-23. Waldo is open noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, and open from noon Sunday, Nov. 25, to 2 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26. The Swain Education and Maybee Music Libraries remain closed through Saturday and are open Sunday from 2 to 10 p.m. Zhang Archives remains closed through Sunday. Campus computing
The Help Desk closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, and will remain closed Thursday through Saturday, and reopens at noon Sunday, Nov. 25. The Mobile Help Desk is closed Wednesday, Nov. 21, through Saturday, Nov. 24, and reopens at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25.
Bernhard Computing Center in the Bronco Mall closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, is closed Thursday through Saturday, and reopens at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 25.
University Computing Center lab closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, is closed Thursday through Saturday, and reopens at noon Sunday, Nov. 25.
Energy savings
To reduce energy costs during the recess, heating and cooling systems in all office and classroom buildings controlled by the WMU Building Energy Management System will be in holiday mode. Air handlers will not run during this time, unless a space is exempt from the program or the temperature in a particular space goes outside of the range of 60 to 85 degrees. Portions of a particular building that do not normally go into night setback mode will not go into holiday mode.
Employees are reminded to shut off and unplug all non-essential electronics before the long weekend.
