PSSO seeking volunteers for highway cleanup project

KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擟ommunity-minded volunteers are encouraged to join an employee group at Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University and help clean up the area around the I-94 and Sprinkle Road interchange Saturday, April 14.

WMU's Professional Support Staff Organization is seeking volunteers from on and off the campus to assist with this Adopt a Highway community service project. In case of rain, the event will take place Saturday, April 21.

Those who sign up to volunteer may meet at The Crew Restaurant, 3810 E. Cork St., Kalamazoo, for breakfast at 8 a.m. or park at the back corner of restaurant before 8:45 a.m. and join the group for some quick safety tips before heading out to begin picking up trash.

Before taking part in the Adopt a Highway event, those planning to participate must sign up as a volunteer and watch two safety videos that are less than five minutes long.
