WMU board to meet Nov. 1, consider sponsored programs policy
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擳he Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University Board of Trustees will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, in Heritage Hall on WMU's East Campus.
Meeting in formal session in the facility's second-floor ballroom, the board will consider a number of informational items, including two that focus on University research and economic development initiatives. One will cover research, discovery and student engagement. The second will provide an update on the Kalamazoo Smart Zone, which includes, the WMU Business Technology and Research Park.
At the meeting, the board also will act on consent items that include reports on curricular changes, personnel moves, and gift and grants recently received by the University. The consent item agenda also includes consideration of a new University policy on debarment and suspension in sponsored programs that ensures WMU is in compliance with federal regulation in relation to federal research funds used or administered by WMU employees.
