KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擡xcavation underway near Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University's Sindecuse Health Center resulted in a natural gas line being nipped, causing a small gas leak that closed the health center for an hour early Tuesday, May 9.
A WMU landscaping crew doing work on a stormwater inlet stopped work immediately and the line was shut down as WMU's Department of Public Safety put out a campus message just before 8 a.m. urging people to avoid the area. Sindecuse also was evacuated as a precaution.
Consumers Energy was on site immediately, and before 9 a.m., repairs were completed and Sindecuse and the roads surrounding it were reopened.
