"Kzoo Sings!" at Miller Auditorium features music of Queen

Miller Auditorium presents Kzoo Sings.
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擳hose who love to sing are invited to gather to perform some favorite songs in a casual and fun atmosphere from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, in Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University's Miller Auditorium.

"Kzoo Sings!" is a drop-in, no-commitment singing event open to anyone who likes to sing new arrangements of pop songs. The event will be held once a month on Thursday nights, usually on Miller Auditorium's Grand Tier lobby on the second level. This month's event will focus on Queen's hit "Somebody to Love." Those in attendance will have a chance to win tickets to One Night of Queen performed by Gary Mullen & The Works, coming to Miller Auditorium at 8 p.m. Friday, March 17.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. There will be a $5 cover charge, and a full cash bar and complimentary snacks will be provided.

Participants will get a lyric sheet and will join a high, mid or low vocal group. Together, the groups will master three-part harmonies for a pop song or two. No music reading ability is required and no auditions will be conducted. Participants are encouraged to listen to the song that will be sung prior to arriving. Some sessions may be recorded.
