Campus Activities Board presents Panic! At the Disco

Tickets go on sale to the general public Feb. 29.

KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擳he Campus Activities Board's 2016 spring concert will bring the rock band Panic! At the Disco to campus at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 7, in Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University's Miller Auditorium.

Tickets are $15 for students with a valid student Bronco Card, and went on sale Feb. 15. Advance tickets for the general public go on sale Monday, Feb. 29, and are $35.

"The students began making budgeting decisions as early as fall 2014 to plan for this concert and starting planning details for it this summer," says Brianne Rogers, assistant director of campus engagement and CAB advisor. "They are extremely excited to provide a high quality, yet affordable event to campus and the surrounding communities."

The band's new single, "Victorious," debuted at No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs, iTunes Alternative Songs, Billboard + Twitter鈥檚 Trending 140 charts just hours after its release. The previous single, "Hallelujah," was released to equal enthusiasm earlier this year and has since accumulated over 13 million streams on Spotify and nearly 7 million plays on YouTube. Panic! At The Disco鈥檚 prior albums include 2005's double-platinum "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out," 2008鈥檚 "Pretty. Odd.," which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Album chart, and "Vices & Virtues," which debuted at No. 7 and earned the band critical praise. The band has been nominated for countless awards, including a Grammy, Teen Choice, Kerrang and MTV Music Awards.
