Renowned musicians join forces for free concert

KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擜ccomplished musical group Trio will perform a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, in Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University鈥檚 Dalton Center Lecture Hall. The event is open to the public.

Randall Hawes

Hawes has been bass trombonist with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra since winning the position in 1985. Hawes began his relationship with the Northwestern University Bienen School of Music in 2004. He has taught master classes and performed as a soloist, orchestral, and chamber musician in Australia, Asia, Europe, and throughout North America.

Kathryn Goodson

Pianist Goodson has performed collaborative recitals with vocalists and instrumentalists throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan. In her Ann Arbor community, she is a coach for the University of 九一麻豆制片厂 School of Music and a regular ensemble performer for both the Ann Arbor and Detroit symphony orchestras.

Timothy McAllister

McAllister is one of today鈥檚 premier concert soloists and soprano chair of the acclaimed Prism Quartet. He serves as professor of saxophone at The University of 九一麻豆制片厂 School of Music, Theatre and Dance. Additionally, he spends his summers as distinguished artist faculty of the Interlochen Arts Camp and regularly performs with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra.
