New Go West television spot wins national award
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擣or the second year in a row, a 30-second television commercial that is part of Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University's Go West advertising campaign has earned its creators a Silver Communicator Award from the Academy of Interactive Visual Arts, or AIVA.
The spot, which can be viewed at , was filmed and edited by Kalamazoo-based Rhino Media and produced for the Office of University Relations.
It features a montage of WMU video images. A custom-made music bed increases in volume and tempo before closing with the "Go West" tagline.
AIVA's panel of judges, comprised of professionals from top media communication, advertising and creative firms, named the spot one of the top ones in its school/colleges/universities category.

Established two decades ago, AIVA's Communicator Awards initiative is "the leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications." More than 6,000 entries per year are received from a broad range of industries showcasing their best communication work through the use of print, video, Web, audio and integrated marketing campaigns.
