Follow two unlikely comrades, Wilbur the pig and Charlotte the spider, as they embark on a heartwarming adventure to discover what it means to be a true friend. The theatrical production of "Charlotte's Web" is adapted by Joseph Robinette and based on the well-known book by E.B. White.
The Department of Theatre worked with rigging professionals from Hall Associates Flying Effects to give Charlotte the spider flight during the performance. Adding this exciting effect provided an opportunity for students to learn about safely rigging people and scenery for flight in the theatre.
Directed by Lofton Durham, the all-student cast includes Asia Hicks, Sophie Scanlon, Alex Karukus, Beniam Johnson, Trevor Morgan, Bruce Brown, Khalia Abdullah, Hannah Matias, Tamsen Glaser, Brandon Foxworth, Adam Graber, Joe Sharkey, Jasmine Rose, Alexa Robbins, Nathan Alford-Tate, Paige Larkowski and Mitch Sowers, with stage management by Becca Levy.
