Submissions for sustainability art show being taken now
KALAMAZOO, Mich.鈥擶estern 九一麻豆制片厂 University students who wish to share their creative vision how they convey, express and visualize sustainability are invited to submit original artwork online to the "Re:Solution Envisioning Sustainability" exhibit through Wednesday, Oct. 15.
The juried art exhibit will run Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 19-21, in WMU's Richmond Center for Visual Arts in South Kohrman Hall. All full- and part-time WMU students enrolled in the fall 2014 semester are eligible to submit digital photos of artwork by jpeg attachment to @email. There is no submission or application fee.
The exhibit, sponsored by WMU's Environmental Studies and Sustainability Program and the Gwen Frostic School of Art, features a lecture by visiting artist Garth Lenz () at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, in Room 2008 with an opening reception following from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Room K1206. A faculty exhibit will be in room K1117.
