Mary Anne Bunda obituary
Dr. Mary Anne Bunda, professor emerita of educational studies at Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University, died July 17 in Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. She was 70.
Bunda joined the WMU faculty in 1973 and retired in 2002 after more than 28 years of service to the University.
During her tenure, Bunda served in several administrative capacities, including associate director of the internationally known Evaluation Center from 1973 to 1987 and director of the Office of University Assessment from 1988 to 1993.
She also served stints as administrative associate in the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, interim chairperson of the Department of Educational Leadership, and president of the Faculty Senate.
Bunda earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Loyola University of Chicago and a doctoral degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Services
A memorial mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 24, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 Lake St., Kalamazoo.
