Community partnership part of WMUK fundraiser

WMUK's on-air fund drive begins April 5.

KALAMAZOO鈥擳he spring fund drive for Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University public radio station WMUK begins on-air pledging Saturday, April 5, and will feature a partnership with the Kalamazoo Community Foundation and Fair Food Matters.

Being called "The Partnership for Fair Food," the campaign will raise program funds for WMUK and trigger gifts from the Kalamazoo Community Foundation to Fair Food Matters, a community organization dedicated to improving access to healthy, local food by educating, connecting and empowering the Kalamazoo community.

Pre-drive, mail-in contributions to WMUK and online giving at will play a significant role in helping WMUK raise the funds necessary to purchase NPR programs like "Morning Edition" and "All Things Considered" as well as produce local programs such as "Grassroots," "The Pure Drop," "Let's Hear It," "West Southwest" and "Arts & More."
