KALAMAZOO—Coming to Kalamazoo for the first time, NPR's Peabody Award-winning show "Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!" will bring its fast-paced, raucous news quiz to Western ¾ÅÒ»Â鶹ÖÆƬ³§ University's Miller Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20.

Host Peter Sagal will be joined by legendary newsman Carl Kasell and a panel featuring comedians Brian Babylon and Bobcat Goldthwait and newspaper columnist Amy Dickinson. Tickets are on sale now and available at .

About the show

Each week, with Kasell presiding over the fun as official judge and scorekeeper, Sagal leads panelists and listeners through a series of games designed to quiz them on the week's news and showcase their wits, such as:

  • the "Listener Limerick Challenge," in which listeners complete a word game inspired by a recent story or event;
  • "Bluff the Listener," where callers choose the real news story among three unlikely tales; and
  • "Lightning Fill in the Blank," a 60-second speed round where each panelist answers as many questions as possible.

Celebrity guest is WMU alum

In Kalamazoo, "Wait Wait…Don't Tell Me!" will also welcome former NFL player and WMU graduate Terry Crews as a special guest for its popular "Not My Job" segment. As the game goes, Crews, who currently stars on the Fox sitcom "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," will be quizzed on a subject about which he knows absolutely nothing. The segment has attracted such notable names as Stephen Colbert, who lost a quiz on nice things; Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, who was asked about the habits of rock stars; and NBC anchor Brian Williams, who answered questions about duct tape.

The March 20 show that will be taped in Kalamazoo will air on WMUK 102.1 FM at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22, as well as on public radio stations across the country. The program is also available as streaming audio and a free podcast at .

Regular tickets are available for purchase now, as are VIP Experience tickets that offer premium seating and more at .
