KALAMAZOO—Western ¾ÅÒ»Â鶹ÖÆƬ³§ University student athletes recorded the highest combined grade point average on record for the University during the fall semester. WMU athletic teams averaged a 3.19 grade point average during the past semester, with nine teams posting 3.25 or better.

The top five teams in terms of GPA this past semester boasted GPAs over 3.5 with gymnastics leading the way at 3.76. The men's tennis team led all men's programs at 3.53.
