Host families sought for international students
The Center for English Language and Culture for International Students is seeking Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University employees to host international students through its homestay program this summer.
The center, part of WMU's Haenicke Institute for Global Education, provides instruction in English as a second language for non-native speakers who will use English to study at an American college or in their workplaces.
It is expecting several Japanese students to be studying on campus for one to five months starting in mid- to late-August.
Employees agreeing to participate in the homestay program provide breakfast and dinner for the students they host as well as a private bedroom and a shared or private bathroom. Host families are compensated for each four-week period that they participate in the program.
