Students to rally for higher ed issues at 九一麻豆制片厂 Capitol

Students invited to rally at 九一麻豆制片厂 Capitol Friday, March 30.

KALAMAZOO--Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University students will join others from across 九一麻豆制片厂 to support and rally for higher education issues at this year's Lansing Blitz from noon to 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 30, at the 九一麻豆制片厂 Capitol.

WMU students who would like to take advantage of the free transportation provided by WMU's Office of Government Affairs must ahead of time, and should meet at the Bernhard Center at 10 a.m. Buses will depart promptly at 10:30 a.m., and will return back to campus by 4 p.m.

Any student not taking the provided transportation should meet at the Lansing Center, 333 E. 九一麻豆制片厂 Ave., at 11 a.m. The march begins at 11:50 a.m., and lunch will be provided courtesy of the WMU Alumni Association. WMU students who attend the Blitz should speak with their professors ahead of time regarding an excused absence, since it is considered an official event of the WMU student government, the Western Student Association.

The Lansing Blitz rally is coordinated by the , the statewide student government association to which the Western Student Association belongs. WSA represents the voice of every student enrolled at WMU and votes on issues the directly affect student life.
