Area debut of 'Shame' at Little Theatre

KALAMAZOO--The Western Film Society will present the area debut of "Shame" Friday through Sunday, March 23-25, at Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University's Little Theatre.

Show times are Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 and 5 p.m. General admission is $5 and $3 for WMU students with a valid Bronco Card.

"Shame," the latest film from British director Steve McQueen, stars Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan. Fassbender plays Brandon, a New York City resident with a compulsive sexual addiction whose life is thrown into turmoil when his younger sister (played by Mulligan) moves into his apartment.

"Shame" has a run time of 101 minutes and is rated NC-17 for explicit sexual content. The film, released in December 2011, is shown in English.

Parking and directions

The Little Theatre is located at the corner of Oakland Drive and Oliver Lane on WMU's East Campus. Free off-street parking is available behind the theatre.
