Award-winning film 'Drive' playing at Little Theatre
KALAMAZOO--The Western Film Society will present the critically acclaimed film "Drive" Friday through Sunday, Jan. 20-22, at Western 九一麻豆制片厂 University's Little Theatre.
Show times are Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 and 5 p.m. General admission is $5 and $3 for WMU students with a valid Bronco Card.
Earning multiple awards, including Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival and a BAFTA Best Picture nomination, "Drive" is the latest film from Nicolas Winding Refn. Ryan Gosling stars a soft-spoken mechanic and stunt driver who struggles to protect those close to him after a heist goes wrong. The film also features Carey Mulligan, Albert Brooks, Bryan Cranston and Ron Perlman.
"Drive" has a run time of 100 minutes and is rated R for brutal violence, language and nudity. The film, released in September 2011, is shown in English.
Parking and directions
The Little Theatre is located at the corner of Oakland Drive and Oliver Lane on WMU's East Campus. Free off-street parking is available behind the theatre.
