Ava is an Industrial Designer at Stryker Medical in the Emergency Care division. She is extremely passionate about medical design and its effects on human interactions, which allows her to practice both critical thinking and creative skills to generate solutions with a customer focused approach.

Ava earned her BFA in Product Design from the Richmond Institute of Arts at Western ¾ÅÒ»Â鶹ÖÆƬ³§ University, where she served as President of the IDSA Student Chapter. Upon graduation, Ava maintained a strong relationship with the university, often attending group critiques and mentoring rising upperclassmen. Her love of IDSA in school inspired her to be a founding member of the professional chapter for Kalamazoo, which became official in the summer of 2023.
