BIOGRAPHY

Mrs. Linda Hanson is a Faculty Specialist in the Department of Chemistry at Western ¾ÅÒ»Â鶹ÖÆƬ³§ University. Prior to working in Kalamazoo, Linda was a Teaching Professor in Chemistry at the University of Southern Mississippi on their Gulf Park Campus. She is a retired public-school teacher from the Reeths-Puffer district in Muskegon, ¾ÅÒ»Â鶹ÖÆƬ³§. Linda is an accomplished online instructor having developed distance learning courses for both lecture and lab for a variety of chemistry settings. Linda was an independent consultant that has traveled though the country delivering professional development workshops for teachers, principals, schools and districts to improve instruction, classroom assessment, and curriculum development. With over 30 years of experience in public education, she has successfully taught at the university, community college and public high school settings. Her passion for teaching is evidenced by helping all her students find their own pathway to success.
